Agiliti is seeking a Laser Technician I for on-site work in Des Moines, Urbandale, Iowa. The role supports operating room procedures by testing, cleaning, and sterilizing laser equipment, and remaining present during procedures as directed by physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment, reporting defects promptly, and ensuring equipment readiness before and after surgeries. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with preferred medical or military

• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; assist as directed by clinicians.
• Removes and disinfects surgical equipment after procedures.
• Communicates defects or maintenance needs to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure availability for necessary procedures.

Make an impact in healthcare and grow your career with Team Agiliti!**Surgical Laser Technicians** maintain a professional relationship with all physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff and other personnel both in appearance and behavior. A Technician’s role is to make sure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery.**What You Will Do in This Role*** Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.* Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.* Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.* Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.* Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.**What You Will Need for This Role*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.* Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
