Job summary

It’s A Secret Med Spa in Houston, TX is seeking a motivated Laser Technician to deliver advanced aesthetic laser services safely and professionally. You will partner with clinicians, perform treatments, and provide exceptional client care to enhance results and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a laser license, esthetician certification, and strong communication skills, with a commitment to HIPAA compliance and ongoing education in a fast-paced luxury medical spa environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Laser Technician license issued by the Department of Licensing is required.
• Medical Esthetician License issued by the State is required.
• Be able to work weekends and have a flexible schedule is required.
• Must possess a strong and extensive knowledge of laser, skin treatment procedures, esthetician practices and medical practice management.
• Ability to self-promote and engage in company social media with relation to meeting social media guidelines and expectations.
• Must understand patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to our clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, experience and productivity.
• Perform laser services within the scope of practice under your licenses/certifications.
• Work closely with the Mid-Level Providers as needed for client care.
• May assist to train peers and new hires, to ensure Company standards.
• Maintain strict medical protocols for all laser services, regarding state regulation, HIPAA and all other regulatory compliance programs.
• Maintain an upscale atmosphere with professional appearance and dress code.
• Perform laser services including Laser Hair Removal and Photo-facials.
• Perform aesthetic services such as derma-planning, SkinPen micro-needling with/without PRP, facials, chemical peels, and HydraFacial.
• Provide client-centered customized plans to meet skin care needs and sell products/treatments.
• Attend continuing education and team meetings as requested by supervision.

A Day in the Life of a Laser Technician

• Provide exceptional service to our clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, experienceand productivity.
• Perform job duties within the scope of practice under your issued licenses/certifications.
• Work closelywith the Mid-Level Providers as needed for client care.
• May assist to trainpeers and new hires, to ensure Company standards
• Maintain strict medical protocols for all laser services, regarding state regulation, HIPAA and all other regulatory compliance programs that are set for by the Company.
• Maintain a professional neat appearance individually and adheres to approved dress code so ensure upscale atmosphere of the med spa.
• Perform laser services that are not limited to but include;Laser Hair Removal. Photo-facials
• Perform aesthetic servicesthat are not limited to but include;derma-planning, SkinPen micro-needling with and without PRP, facials, chemical peels, and HydraFacial.
• Perform body contouring services that are not limited to but include; CoolSculpting.
• Provide a client centered customized plan to meet their skin care needs through performing services, selling products and treatments.
• Perform full aesthetic consultations to meet all client's aesthetic short/long term goals.
• Maintain an elite, clean and organized work/treatment areas throughout the location.
• Assist withunpacking and storingorders acquiredwithin locations appropriately and timely.
• Assist with maintaining an appropriate inventory by communicating to management of inventory needs and inventorycounts.
• Ensure charting is accurate, timely, and completely performed to best depict all client appointments and experiences.
• Attendcontinuing education as requested by Clinical Management to excelin various skillsets.
• Attendand provideinput at all team meetings organized by your direct supervisor and clinical management.
• Ensure that client concerns are reported in a timely manner to the Senior Laser Technician, Manager, Mid-Level Provider and Operations Manager

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed
