Job summary

IPG Photonics is seeking a motivated Electronics Assembler to build electronic and fiber laser assemblies, read blueprints or schematics, and perform testing and measurement.

You will splice optical/fiber components, troubleshoot issues, and repair sub-assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with overtime as needed.

High-School electronics education preferred; soldering, optics, fiber assembly and data entry skills valued; strong attendance and reliability required.

Qualifications

• High-School education in Electronics preferred.
• Electronics, optics or fiber training and understanding.
• Electronics, soldering, optics, fiber or component level assembly.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics.
• Data entry skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job.
