Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an EH&S Site Operator in San Diego to perform daily safety testing on Class 1 laser hardware in a high-compliance environment. You will maintain logs, monitor systems, and enforce safety and SOP adherence to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or graduation with 2+ years in safety or technical operations, and knowledge of OSHA standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate
• 2+ year experience in safety, lab, or technical operations
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards (OSHA preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily laser safety tests using approved EH&S checklists
• Maintain accurate testing logs and compliance records
• Monitor hardware systems to ensure safe operation
• Identify and accelerate safety risks or equipment issues
• Enforce strict safety and no-phone policies
• Support adherence to SOPs and EH&S standards
