Job summary

SPX Technologies' Cincinnati Fan division in Mason, OH is hiring a Laser Unload/Parts Handler for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:30 pm–1:00 am). You will safely unload laser-cut parts, sort and identify components, and prepare them for the next production step.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient material handling, requiring ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and read work tickets. Experience with lifting, pallets, forklifts and familiarity with metal parts is preferred;

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical work.
• Basic counting, math, and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, part numbers, and job tickets.
• Attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, identify, and move metal parts from laser-cutting equipment.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure correct material.
• Document counts and production information per procedures.
• Organize materials by work orders and part numbers.
• Move parts to next production stage using approved equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe unload area and report safety concerns.
