Job summary

Hennig is seeking a Laser Machine Operator – Skilled Operator to independently operate laser cutting equipment, maintain schedules, ensure product quality, and troubleshoot routine issues, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include following operation sequences, maintaining attendance, executing nesting tasks with SigmaNEST, and collaborating with team members while complying with safety procedures and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain high quality output and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes and technologies.
• Able to perform mechanical equipment troubleshooting according to inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting equipment and follow required operation sequences.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.
• Identify and report quality issues and help correct them.
• Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Process nesting recuts using SigmaNEST to support production.
