M&R Printing in Roselle, IL is seeking an entry-level Laser Operator I to assist in setting up and operating Trumpf laser and turret equipment. This full-time role supports production efficiency, quality, and safety while developing technical skills.

The position focuses on learning machine operations, bending to safety standards, and helping the team meet daily production goals. Prior manufacturing is a plus; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and math skills.
• Ability to learn blueprint reading and machine operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine set-up, part nesting, and operation of laser and/or turret equipment.
• Load raw materials and assist in unloading finished parts.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, reporting issues to supervisors.
• Make basic corrections and notations on work routers as instructed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices.
• Support team members and production goals as needed.
