Job summary

B & G Industries Inc in Watertown, SD, is seeking a Laser Operator for metal fabrication. You will support daily setup and operation of the laser cutting machine, stage materials, and assist others with housekeeping and maintenance tasks.

This non-exempt position follows a Monday-Thursday 10-hour-day schedule with competitive wages, benefits, and a sign-on bonus. Physical duties may include lifting up to 75 lbs and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with sheet metal flat patterns preferred.

• Keeps conveyor label clean for smooth operation.

Job summary

A laser machine operator (metal fabrication) works to manufacture metal products using machines that employ lasers and computerized equipment. This position is responsible to the daily setup and operations of the laser cutting machine. He/she will also assist other operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging.
