Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites for commissioning, installation, and service of CNC machinery and automation systems. Must live within 50 miles of a major airport and be prepared for 90–100% travel.

The role emphasizes documenting service, maintaining safety, and providing solutions, with pay $30.00–$50.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Overtime may be available, and the company supports OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills for mechanical/electrical issues.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the sales staff in servicing company equipment
• Installing new equipment at customer sites
• Providing solutions for service of equipment at the customer site
• Carefully and accurately documenting all service performed and future needs
• Maintaining excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Demonstrating company software capabilities to the customer
• Preparing timesheets, service reports and installation forms timely and accurately
• Accurately tracking expenses and completing expense reports
• Maintaining a safe work environment and following OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines
• Communicating with other departments as necessary
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Other duties as assigned by management
