UNAVAILABLE seeks a Board-Certified Laryngology Surgeon to join their faculty in Portland, Oregon. This role includes clinical and surgical responsibilities and the expectation to teach medical students and residents throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be fellowship-trained and possess an active unrestricted OR Medical and DEA license, ensuring provision of high-quality patient care in a teaching facility.
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
This position serves as a Board-Certified Laryngology Surgeon within the Department. It is an expectation that the faculty member participates in clinical and surgical activities and takes a fair share of call on nights, weekends, and holidays.
OHSU is a teaching facility, and this faculty member will be expected to teach medical students and residents in the clinical setting, as well as through assigned lectures throughout the year. The Director of Education will issue teaching assignments.
This position will see patients at the Center for Health and Healing, 15th floor Voice Clinic. Surgeries will primarily be scheduled at both CHH and on the main campus.
Fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeon. Active unrestricted OR Medical and DEA license.
