Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration systems across local stores. You will work with commercial HVAC equipment, use various tools, and follow safety and environmental standards to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2 years of HVAC maintenance experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a dynamic team, on-site duties, and opportunities to grow within Walmart’s facilities network.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
