Job summary

TikTok is offering an internship on the Video team, focusing on the systems behind the For You Feed. You will work at the intersection of machine learning and large-scale systems, building end-to-end data pipelines and production-ready features for a billion users.

Interns gain hands-on experience, participate in social events and workshops, and may apply to up to two positions across TikTok and its affiliates. Rolling reviews apply and availability must be stated in the resume.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in programming with languages such as C, C++, Java or Golang.
• Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Masters degree in CS or related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build globalized large-scale recommendation system.
• Build efficient data pipelines for candidate generation, ranking, profile generation, training examples, and real-time online training.
• Coach AI for release process and production operations, including online anomaly detection and safeguards.
