Job summary

Talent Masters Staffing is seeking an experienced press setup operator for a full-time role in Mendota Heights, MN. You will set up and run large presses and tooling, read blueprints, inspect parts with precision tools, and troubleshoot issues with maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of press setup experience, reads and writes English, and holds a HS Diploma or GED. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run large presses and complex tooling (draw, form, progressive dies).
• Read blueprints and work instructions to produce quality parts efficiently.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot press or die issues and work with toolroom/maintenance.
• Train and support Level I & II operators.
• Follow safety standards and enter production data.

• Ability to see and hear with vision including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus during long shifts
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
