Job summary

Cheerwine in Hardeeville, SC seeks a LARGE FORMAT PRESALES REPRESENTATIVE to drive pre-sales orders and service grocery accounts on established routes. You will ensure shelves and displays are stocked, coordinate with managers for promotions, and maintain orderly pallets and back stock for next deliveries.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to forecast sales, and skills with Encompass and Paycom HRIS. A valid driver’s license is required and the position is exempt/full-time.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers by taking presales orders for delivery and ensuring proper stocking of shelves and displays.
• Coordinate with managers at customer locations to review orders and promotions before finalizing delivery.
• Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales and delivery team.
• Adhere to daily schedules and service each account on a daily basis; adapt to changes as needed.
• Inspect shelves and end caps, rotate products, and pull out-of-date items.
• Forecast sales based on past data and upcoming promotions to ensure accuracy.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Description: Drive vehicles over established routes or within an established territory and sell goods, such as food products. Services grocery stores with the help of additional support staff (merchandisers). Material handling is required based on the route.

Summary: Services and orders products for customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Serving customers assigned by taking presales orders for delivery. Ensure that all deliveries are properly worked by stocking our designated shelves and displays; ensuring that back stock is properly broken down and placed on appropriate pallets, bunkers, or trailers in an organized fashion; gather all shells/flats, and pallets to be picked up, and damage or out of date be bundled and placed in pick-up area for next delivery; and then review our promotions and new sales orders with the necessary managers at our customer's location before finalizing the order sheet for the next delivery date.

Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales and delivery team.

Communicates with each account: new product offering(s), sales events/promotions, and display opportunities.

Adheres to the daily schedule and ensures each account is serviced daily. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts.

Inspects and maintains customer's shelves, end caps, and other allocated space to ensure they are kept clean and neat.

Audits and pulls out-of-date or damaged products and rotates products to maintain the freshest product level possible regularly.

Forecasts sales based on previous sales reports and upcoming promotions/sales to ensure accuracy for our customers and minimize pallet pick-ups.

Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Encompass sales software and Paycom HRIS.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license meeting acceptable criteria.
