Job summary

Brimar Industries in Garfield, NJ is seeking a Graphics & Printing Operator to run large-format digital printing and cutting equipment for signs and graphics. You will support setup, operation, maintenance, material handling, and quality control to meet customer specifications and company standards.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while collaborating with a production team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of related production, printing, graphics, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate SwissQ Nyala large-format printing equipment using 10" x 7" to 48" x 96" substrates.
• Operate and maintain Kongsberg XN cutting tables, Esko software, and HP365 printing equipment.
• Match printed materials to work orders and production specifications.
• Perform daily machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Monitor print quality and inspect finished products for specifications.
• Prepare materials and workstations for production runs.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues and escalate when needed.
• Move materials between workstations to support workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
