Position Overview

Press / Print Operating Technician – Duluth, GA.

Work Authorization

Shift

1st Shift – Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
  • Carry out detailed instructions from job orders accurately and precisely.
  • Identify and correct errors or problems promptly.
  • Set up and adjust press equipment for job runs to meet specifications.
  • Monitor product quality during job runs and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Monitor equipment for mechanical problems and refer to maintenance as needed.
  • Initiate job startup and operation in line with the production schedule.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
  • Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace for efficient shift changeovers.
  • Complete logs and paperwork accurately.
  • Utilize DailyPay to receive payment on the first day of employment.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Basic math skills for reading rulers and calculating label dimensions for stock optimization.
