Job summary

PactFi is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help build and ship features across our Laravel-based platform with Vue.js frontend work. You will own features end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers and collaborate with product, QA, and engineering leadership.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of professional software development, solid PHP fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Laravel, Vue.js or React, SQL, and Git workflows. You will contribute to secure, scalable fintech infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Working experience with Laravel (or another modern MVC framework).
• Solid PHP fundamentals and object-oriented design.
• Front-end experience with Vue.js, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Practical SQL skills with relational databases (MySQL or similar).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code review.
• Clear written and verbal communication; willingness to ask questions early.

Responsibilities

• Build features in our Laravel application from database schema to API endpoints to the Vue.js interface.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code review.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and internal services, handling errors, retries, and edge cases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and QA to clarify requirements and push features to production.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack, including performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to improving tooling, tests, and development workflow.
