Job summary

Are you passionate about applying your foreign language skills within NSA’s SIGINT mission? This position supports Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) who may join the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or be hired directly into analytic offices.

Responsibilities include analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information for policymakers and military leaders, studying cultures, and developing innovative analytic approaches.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in language work or related fields (e.g., intelligence analysis, security studies, or STEM).
• Entry/Developmental to Senior levels specify increasing experience requirements and potential leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leaders.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA SIGINT.
• Synthesize large data sets and disparate sources to provide analytic insights.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA stakeholders.
• Work independently and with cross-agency teams on research, analysis, and reporting.
