Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Part-time PT Assistant II, Language Lab to support multiple students across two computer labs. Reports to the Division Operations Manager and a Department Chair, performing routine lab duties and ensuring smooth operations.

The role emphasizes monitoring student lab time, maintaining supplies, and enforcing lab conduct while providing strong customer service in a collaborative environment. Excellent organization and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Have taken and passed college level Freshman English courses or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assists students with the lab requirement of their class.
• Responsible for monitoring and signing-off on students' lab time.
• Assists with monitoring and tracking lab supplies (workbooks, printer toner, and paper supply).
• Uphold students' reasonable understanding of proper lab conduct.
• Operates a variety of office equipment, including but not limited to computer(s), printer, copier, and laminator.
• Responsible for other related duties as assigned.
