Job summary

NSA/CSS seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) for the LADP or direct hire to analytic offices, with rotation through tours in SIGINT disciplines. Proficiency in foreign languages is essential, and resumes should reflect relevant language expertise and security clearances.

The LADP lasts up to three years, offering intense training, operational tours, and classroom instruction to develop SIGINT analytic capabilities.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in translation, transcription, language instruction, or analysis.
• Entry/Developmental to Senior levels require increasing experience; formal or informal leadership may apply.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders insights by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA mission.
• Apply new techniques to synthesize large data sets and disparate sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for the IC.
• Collaborate with NSA and IC analysts in research and reporting.
