Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks qualified linguists for NSA SIGINT positions. You will analyze, transcribe, and translate languages to support analytic missions within LADP or direct hire. The role requires ILR 2/2 and relevant language experience, with multiple entry levels based on education and years of experience.

You will engage across offices and partners, develop insights from diverse data, and contribute to SIGINT reporting and development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• Experience may include leadership for Full Performance and Senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders a window into the foreign language world by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to understand how they fit into the larger picture.
• Apply new techniques to address analytic problems with large, disparate data sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA SIGINT missions.
• Work independently and with teams across the Intelligence Community on research and reporting.
