Job summary

MOFFATT & RAYMOND LANDSCAPING INC. is seeking a skilled Landscaper to maintain outdoor spaces for our clients in Avon, CT. You will perform mowing, planting, watering, raking, sod laying, and sprinkler installation to create beautiful, well-groomed environments.

You are a reliable team player who takes pride in quality workmanship. Prior landscaping experience is preferred, and a positive attitude is essential for daily duties and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred.
• Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Willing to work in all weather elements.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge/trimmer, axes).
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment (mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, pruning saws).
• Water lawns, trees, or plants with sprinklers, hoses, or watering cans.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges (shears, pruners, chainsaws).
• Gather and remove litter.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
