Job summary

New England Lawn Care is seeking Landscape Technicians to maintain outdoor spaces and perform lawn aeration to improve soil health and promote healthy grass growth. You will use specialized equipment to ensure landscapes are visually appealing, healthy, and environmentally sustainable.

New England Lawn Care Landscape Technicians are responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are visually appealing, healthy, and environmentally sustainable. A Landscaping specialist is responsible for providing aeration services that improve soil health and promote healthy grass growth by using specialized equipment to perforate the soil, allowing better air, water, and nutrient flow to plant roots. Duties can include performing lawn aeration services, making sure plants grow well in their assigned area as well as cleaning up debris around yards and other areas.

In this role you will have you will have the opportunity to work outside on beautiful properties in your community, You will apply your expertise to ensure the on-going health, beauty and well-being of each client's landscape.

  • Requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pulling, reaching, stooping and bending.
  • Requires walking primarily on uneven turf or rocky areas while on job sites.
  • Use lawn aeration and overseeding equipment
  • Clean up debris in flower beds and leaves on lawns
  • May be exposed to moderate to loud work environments. These areas will require the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection.
  • Will be exposed to dust, dyes, grease, odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
  • Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small and large engine equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stamina is required.
  • Work with and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis

  • Horticulture/Arboriculture Trade Certification a bonus
  • Must be able to operate equipment safely.
  • The responsibility and independence to work autonomously.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
  • Valid driver's license
