Job summary

Primary Care Partners is seeking a daytime Landscaping / Maintenance Associate to maintain outdoor areas and safety compliance at our facility. Duties include lawn care, plant replacement, irrigation monitoring, and general exterior maintenance on a Sun–Thu schedule, 6 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., with some carpentry and basic repairs as needed. Ideal candidates have landscaping knowledge, attention to detail, good work ethics, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of landscaping; detail oriented; good work ethics and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Education or training in related field preferred or willingness to be trained.
• Must know OSHA Standards Regulations in regard to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address outdoor maintenance and grounds keeping, and safety issues.
• Mow, edge, weed, plant replacement, and hedging tasks.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems and related equipment.
• Snow removal, ice melt, and sidewalk clearing.
• Perform cleaning and minor repairs to gutters, building exteriors, and HVAC equipment as needed.
• Assist with fertilizer and pesticide program planning and application.
• Share responsibilities for general site upkeep and safety in coordination with supervisor.

Work in collaboration with supervisor, maintenance associate, landscaping associate, and sub-contractorsDuties/Responsibilities:Daily parking lot clean-up PCP / HospiceLawn Care, mowing, edging, weeding PCP/HospiceReplacing plants and treesTrimming, pruning, hedging of plants/trees/bushesKeep all pathways clear and safeMove equipment and supplies to designated areaUpkeep of outside area (trash pick-up)Upkeep / preventive maintenance on maintenance equipmentMonitoring, scheduling, and maintenance of irrigation system.
