Job summary

ALPACA LAND SERVICES INC is seeking a skilled Landscaper to maintain residential and commercial grounds, performing mowing, edging, trimming, planting, mulch installation, and sprinkler work to create well-groomed outdoor spaces.

The candidate should be hard-working, trustworthy, reliable, a team player, and dedicated to quality work. Past landscape experience is preferred, and a valid IL driver license is required.

Qualifications

• Past experience as landscaper/groundskeeper preferred.
• Valid IL Driver License.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws
• Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans
• Prune or trim shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws
• Gather and remove litter.
• Potential for snow plowing and removal in the winter if interested.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Landscaper to join our team! You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks for our residential and commercial properties. Duties include but not limited to mowing, edging and trimming lawns, weeding garden beds, shrub pruning/trimming, mulch installation, planting, gravel installation, soil and soil installation, watering, raking, sod laying, and sprinkler installation with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.

You are hard-working, trustworthy, reliable, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
