Varsity Mulching is seeking a Crew Leader to guide a small landscaping team on-site in Bucks County. This seasonal leadership role runs mid-March through November 2026, with yearly return and advancement opportunities. You will coordinate logistics, communicate with clients, and ensure safety and high-quality completion of each project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience.
• Strong leadership potential and ability to manage a small team.
• High character - honest, dependable, and committed to doing the right thing.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive and back up a trailer.
• Foreman or prior team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team on-site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to Varsity standards.
• Manage daily transportation of materials and equipment using company trucks and trailers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during projects—answering questions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain job quality, safety, and pace while fostering teamwork and positive morale.
• Communicate regularly with management on project status, crew performance, and client feedback.

Role

The Crew Leader is responsible for managing a small landscaping team and ensuring each project meets Varsity Mulching’s standards of quality, efficiency, and professionalism.

This is a seasonal leadership position running from mid-March through November 2026, with opportunities to return each year and advance within the company. Crew Leaders manage daily operations on-site, coordinate logistics, communicate with clients, and ensure that every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to our premium standards.
