Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping/grounds keeping on a horse farm.
• Maintain entrances, driveways, walkways, porches, fencing, barns, and offices.
• Operate equipment such as mowers, Gator/ATV, sprayers and spreaders.
• Rake leaves; fertilize and seed fields and pastures.
• Maintain trees and landscape beds; mulch, weed, prune, water, and spray.
• Load/unload hay and straw bales; lift 50 lb feed bags.
• Maintain fencing and discard damaged wood; remove dead limbs.
• Muck stalls and clean as needed.

Job description

Pay: $16.00 per hour.

What you will do:

• Landscaping/grounds keeping on a horse farm to maintaining the grounds
• Maintain the entrances, driveways, walkways, porches , gated fences, barns, farm roads and offices on horse farm
• Operate specialized equipment such as: riding mower, push mower, Gator/ATV, sprayer, fertilizer spreader, weed trimmer,edger, leaf blower
• Rake and remove leaves as needed.
• Fertilize and seeding of fields, horse pastures and grass areas
• Maintenance of trees and landscape beds by mulching, weeding, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and spraying.
• Load and unload 70lb. hay & straw bales.
• Lift, carry and move 50 lb. feed bags for horses.
• Maintainingfencing by painting, replace, repair, discard wood planks.
• Remove and discard any dead or downed tree limbs in horse pastures and fields.
• Clean/muck out straw in horse stalls (without horses in barn) in limited situations as needed.

What we need from you:

• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Comply with client's substance abuse & backgroundpolicy
• No Experience required but it is a plus
• Must be able to work in the elements
