Leisure World Community Association in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dependable groundskeeper to maintain our outdoor spaces Monday through Friday. This role focuses on lawn care, planting, pruning, and landscape upkeep.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience with a commercial landscape company and a High School Diploma or GED. We offer great pay and comprehensive benefits in a supportive team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform groundskeeping maintenance and lawn care.
• Mow lawn by hand or with riding mower; trim edges around beds and walls.
• Landscape by planting flowers, shrubs and grass; prune as needed.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers; water plants and grass as needed.
• Sweep walkways and remove debris; ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule

Monday - Friday

Essential Functions

• Perform groundskeeping maintenance.
• Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
• Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others.
• Apply fertilizer to the ground to enhance growth.
• Sweep walkway of debris.
• Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
• Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1-year experience with a commercial landscape company.
