Job summary

Talons Landscape Development Inc in Fresno, CA is seeking a dedicated landscaper to join our outdoor crew. This role focuses on basic landscaping tasks under supervision, supporting safe operation of heavy-duty trucks with trailers and equipment, and maintaining plant materials and landscape features.

Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential as you help deliver high-quality, well-maintained outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Prior landscaping experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Physical stamina for outdoor labor in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader as appropriate.
• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, and trimming.
• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover.
• Apply mulch, fertilizers, and soil amendments as needed.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Remove weeds and debris to keep job sites clean and polished.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members on job sites.

Job Summary

• This position involves performing basic landscaping tasks under supervision, supporting the safe operation of commercial-grade heavy duty truck with trailer , commercial landscaping equipment, and assisting with the maintenance of plant materials and other landscape features.

Responsibilities:

• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader as appropriate
• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, and trimming
• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover
• Apply mulch, fertilizers, and soil amendments as needed
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers
• Install and maintain irrigation systems and perform basic troubleshooting
• Remove weeds, debris, and waste from job sites to ensure clean, polished results
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members on job sites

Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of plants, turf care, and irrigation systems is a plus
