We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping, gardening, and construction tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and the use of hand tools and power equipment to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, weed pulling.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, shovels, picks, wheel barrels.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Support general gardening tasks like soil preparation, planting drought tolerant and native plants, and mulching.
• Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and tools.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is required
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and garden management
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery.
• Experience with California natives is a plus
• Experience with hardscape is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction and landscape work.
• Minimum of two years experience necessary
