Apex Companies is hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) in San Marcos, TX. Earn $19.00–$21.00 per hour with full-time, 40–55 hours weekly and overtime opportunities. Travel locally/reg ionally (about 15 days per month) with lodging and per diem provided on travel days.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of manual labor/outdoor experience, enjoy hands-on outdoor work, and are willing to travel. A valid driver’s license and clean records are required, along with background/MVR/drug screening.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally required. 15 days per month is typical (Mon-Fri).
• Due to DOT interstate transportation requirements, employees must meet the minimum requirement of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation required.
• Pre-employment background, motor vehicle record, and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.
• Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 15 days per month is typical (Mon-Fri).

Position: Landscape Technician (Stormwater)

Location: San Marcos, TX

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday-Friday, overtime opportunities)

Regional Travel: Required, typically 15 days per month (lodging and $55 per diem on travel days)
