Job summary

AQUALIS is seeking an Assistant Service Delivery Manager (ASDM / Landscape Technician) in Elizabethtown, KY. You will support the Service Delivery team during peak seasons, perform environmental maintenance tasks, and help manage stormwater infrastructure projects while operating landscaping equipment and company vehicles.

Travel regionally 4–5 days per week (expenses covered). The role requires physical labor, safety trainings, and adherence to the company’s no-jerk culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating basic landscaping equipment.
• Experience driving a truck and trailer.
• Willing to travel regionally, overnight, 4-5 days per week.
• Must maintain our Company’s “No Jerk” culture.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and improving storm drainage systems.
• Operate landscaping equipment (weed eaters, blowers, mowers, shovels, etc.).
• Attend safety trainings and complete reports.
• Assist with maintenance & inspection reports and track crew expenses.
• Regionally travel 4–5 days per week; travel expenses covered by the company.

Where do YOU fit in?

The Assistant Service Delivery Manager (ASDM / Landscape Technician) assists with keeping the Service Delivery team on a challenging schedule during the growing seasons while gathering information for the potential rehabilitation and/or repair of stormwater wetlands, biofiltration systems, proprietary underground storage units, and drainage conveyance infrastructures utilizing Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater Control Measures (SCM).

Specific duties include:

• Assisting with maintaining and improving storm drainage systems to mitigate flooding and erosion
• Performing general environmental maintenance activities
• Operating landscaping equipment including weed eaters, blowers, mowers, shovels, chainsaws, etc.
• Disposing of sediment, trash and debris from stormwater systems
• Maintaining and improving storm drainage systems and ponds
• Identifying and documenting stormwater drainage issues needing repair
• Operating and maintaining company equipment which includes a pick-up truck & trailer
• Assisting with maintenance & inspection reports and tracking crew expenses
• Assisting with hotel arrangements for the team when overnight travel is required
• Attending brief but regular safety trainings
• Performing physical labor in a variety of weather conditions
• Regional travel 4-5 days per week (all travel expenses are covered by the company)

Basic Requirements:

• Experience operating basic landscaping equipment
• Experience driving a truck and trailer
• Willing to travel regionally, overnight, 4-5 days per week (All travel expenses are covered by the Company)
• Comfortable with extensive physical labor in variety of weather conditions
• Background check, drug screening and motor vehicle report are part of the pre-employment process.
• Must maintain our Company’s “No Jerk” culture
• Valid driver's license, insurability under the company's auto policy and ability to drive company vehicle are ongoing requirements in this position.
• This position is designated as safety-sensitive and involves operating DOT-regulated vehicles, which requires inclusion of marijuana in the drug testing panel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification throughout employment.
