Galecki Landscaping LLC in Newington, CT is seeking a hands-on Landscape Team Leader to take charge of jobsites, drive safety, and elevate team performance.

This role offers $22.00–$25.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, 40+ hours, with annual performance raises; winter on-call snow removal duties are part of the position.

Are you an experienced landscape professional who has been carrying the team on your back without the matching title or pay rate? It is time to step up. Galecki Landscaping LLC is seeking a hands-on, driven individual ready to take charge, manage an efficient job site, and elevate the performance of everyone around them.

The Compensation & Perks

• Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus annual performance raises.
• Equipment: Top-tier, late-model Scags and Exmarks, backed by a full-time in-house mechanic.
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40+ hours weekly. Your weekends belong to you.
• Winter Operations: Mandatory "on-call" snow removal duties.

What We Need From You

• Leadership Drive: Formal foreman experience isn’t strictly required, but you must take absolute ownership of job quality, safety protocols, and operational efficiency while leading by example.
• Professional Driving Credentials: A valid driver's license and a DOT Medical Card (or the ability to acquire one prior to your start date). You must be completely confident backing up a heavy truck and loaded trailer.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of 18 months of professional landscaping experience. You should be fluent in operating zero-turn mowers, commercial landscape tools, and executing high-tier site work. (Note: Informal weekend or night work for family members does not qualify).
• Administrative Details: Ability to accurately fill out short daily job reports and perform final quality checks before departing any project site.
