Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a Landscape Superintendent to lead a crew delivering landscape services and upgrades on high-profile commercial properties. You will plan, supervise installations, ensure quality, safety, and adherence to contract specs, budgets, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, energetic, takes ownership of their work, communicates with managers and clients, and has experience reading landscape plans and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and implement tasks of a field crew to meet contract specs, budgets, and client expectations.
• Supervise landscape installation activities and ensure safety and quality.
• Assist the Account Manager with enhancing client landscapes through additional services.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers and employees as needed.
• Interact with Yellowstone Landscape clients via verbal and written communications.

What You'll Do

• Under the supervision of the Account Manager: plan, schedule, and implement the tasks of a field crew. These activities must result in compliance with contract specifications, labor and materials budgets, and client expectations.
• Supervising landscape installation / construction activities of the crew, ensuring consistent quality for our clients, and that crew members are operating safely at all times.
• Assist the Account Manager with enhancing landscapes of clients by offering appropriate additional services.
• Coordinating with branch management, customers and other employees as needed.
• Interact on a regular basis with assigned Yellowstone Landscape clientele, through verbal and written communications.
• Monitor landscape health and care needs on assigned properties.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing a crew consisting of laborers providing landscape installations, construction or related services
• Exceptional client-service skills and a keen sense of ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to read landscape plans and layout plantings
• Must be able to operate Bobcat and mini excavator
• Pro-active attitude to resolve issues before they become problematic
• Fluency in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Clean driving record
• A Green Thumb!
