Job summary

Granite Hills Group is seeking Spray Technicians to apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to lawns and landscapes using specialized equipment while following safety labels and regulations. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for this position.

Responsibilities include applying products to turf and landscape areas, monitoring plant health, documenting applications, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
• Ability to read and follow safety labels and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on turf and landscape areas to ensure optimal plant health and appearance.
• Monitor the health of turf, trees, and plants, making recommendations for treatments.
• Safely and efficiently apply products in accordance with all State and Federal regulations.
• Attend mandatory field safety training and utilize proper safety equipment.
• Properly document all applications, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
• Safely operate and maintain pressurized spray equipment, spreaders, tractors, overseeders, and other field equipment.
• Ensure all assigned equipment, tools, vehicles, and trailers are well-maintained, stored securely, and kept clean.
• Report any equipment damage or malfunctions promptly and follow the maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to quality control standards, reporting site concerns to your managers.
