Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is hiring a Spray Technician for our Panama City maintenance branch. This hourly role covers a 35+ hour work week, Monday to Friday with weekends as needed, focusing on chemical applications across landscape areas.

Responsibilities include identifying issues, mixing and applying chemicals, keeping logs, and safely operating vehicles and equipment. Requires a valid driver’s license, math skills, and SC chemical license to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to perform basic math (multiplication, division, subtraction, addition).
• South Carolina Chemical Applicators License (must be obtained within 6 months of start).
• Previous commercial chemical application experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identification of insects, fungus, weeds, turf, shrubs and trees.
• Mixing chemicals and measuring correct amounts for applications.
• Calibrating and operating sprayer to apply chemicals accurately.
• Maintain daily chemical application logs and submit at end of shift.
• Perform physically demanding tasks during 8+ hour shifts in varying weather.
• Operate vehicles and mechanized equipment including trucks, sprayers, and lawn equipment.
