Job summary

RLM Underground is seeking a Laborer to support telecom construction crews with landscape restoration and site cleanup. This hands-on, outdoor role ensures clean, safe, and restored job sites after underground utility work.

You’ll backfill, grade, reseed, install erosion controls, remove debris, and operate basic tools while following safety procedures and assisting with field tasks as needed. Competitive hourly pay and year-round work offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfortable with physical labor and using basic tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Accountability for completing tasks once started.
• Able to work independently and with a crew.

Responsibilities

• Backfill, grade, and level areas where utilities were installed.
• Reseed and restore disturbed ground.
• Install erosion control materials (straw, matting, silt fence).
• Remove dirt, debris, and materials from job sites.
• Operate basic hand tools and small equipment (rakes, shovels, compactors, etc.).
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic control requirements.
• Assist crews with additional field tasks as needed.
