Job summary

Landecor is seeking a results-driven Project Manager who can own commercial and public landscape projects, drive production, control costs, and deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.

The role requires planning, execution, and delivery within time and budget, overseeing scheduling, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and municipal requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial landscape construction.
• Proven experience managing projects (parks, streetscapes, municipal work).
• Strong understanding of irrigation, planting, grading, drainage, and basic hardscape.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contracts.
• Strong financial and cost management skills.
• Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents, plans, and specifications in detail.
• Develop project budgets and cost codes aligned with estimate (labor, material, equipment, subs).
• Procure materials and subcontractors at competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with Superintendent/Foreman to drive daily production.
• Track job costs, budgets, and profitability; manage cash flow and billing.
• Identify cost overruns early and implement corrective action.
• Identify scope gaps, price and submit change orders quickly and accurately.
• Serve as primary point of contact for GCs, municipalities, and inspectors.
• Ensure work meets plans, specs, and company standards; manage closeout.
