Job summary

Merkle Lawn Care Company is seeking aProduction Manager to lead field crews, manage client jobs, and control costs. You will ensure high quality work, adherence to safety standards, and efficient routing using Aspire.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, coordination with managers, and promoting a strong company culture while delivering excellent service to clients in our local landscaping operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at the crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turf grass science, landscape technology or related field preferred but not required.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crew, public, and environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure crews perform high quality work, meet client requirements and fulfill them in a profitable and efficient manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain operations and meet safety standards.
• Use landscape knowledge, equipment, and labor & quality control to boost branch success.
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials.
• Monitor and maintain labor budgets and other direct and indirect costs to ensure income from operations is met.
• Work with Crew Leads and Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met.
• Coordinate with Shop Manager and Account Manager to ensure equipment and materials are ready for upcoming jobs.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and promote company culture and safety.
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire to reflect the most efficient routing for each crew.
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire.
• Provide accurate and timely paperwork flow between field and office.
