Job summary

Hittle Landscaping in Indiana is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to perform a variety of landscape construction, installation, and maintenance tasks. You will use a range of hand and power tools, operate equipment, and help keep outdoor spaces well-tended while representing the company professionally.

The role emphasizes safety, dependability, and a positive attitude, with duties including winter snow removal and collaboration with the team to maintain quality landscapes.

Qualifications

• Experience and driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, stoop, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of general construction and maintenance tools and safe work practices.
• Ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks and maintain good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools for landscape maintenance like trimers and pruners.
• Operate mowers, tractors, trenchers, vehicles and equipment.
• Water plants, mow, trim trees and bushes.
• Install mulch, sod, plant flowers, shrubs and trees.
• Rake leaves and clean walks and fields.
• Represent Hittle Landscaping in a positive manner.
• Snow removal in winter.
