Local Roots in Pittsburgh is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Technician to maintain commercial and residential properties with pride and attention to detail.

You will work with 1-2 crew members, operate equipment, and perform mowing, trimming, fertilization, pruning, mulching, and plant installations while ensuring safety and quality. • The Landscape Maintenance Technician will work with 1-2 crew members and operate equipment to maintain projects.
• Daily tasks include commercial and residential mowing, trimming, fertilization, shrub pruning, mulching, and plant installations.
• Perform spraying/spreading of pesticides and ensure all work is carried out with attention to detail.

Daily Tasks:

The Landscape Maintenance Technician will be responsible for working with 1-2 crew members, and equipment operation as well as ensuring that all assigned projects are well-maintained and well execute. Typical assigned jobs include but are not limited to: commercial and residential mowing, trimming, spraying/spreading of pesticides, fertilization of lawns, shrub pruning, mulching, leaf removals, plant installations, installation of river rock. It’s important that jobs be carried out with attention to detail.
