Landscape Maintenance Laborer

Pay Range: $18.25/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking LandscapeMaintenance Laborer to join our landscaping team in Land O Lakes, FL. TheLandscape Maintenance Laborer will assist with the routine care and maintenanceof residential and commercial landscapes, including mowing, trimming, edging,planting, mulching, clean-up, and other general landscape tasks.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride inquality work, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn and followsafe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow,trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Operatebasic landscape maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, stringtrimmers, blowers, and edgers.
• Operateride-on landscape equipment as assigned.
• Pruneand trim shrubs, hedges, trees, and ornamental plants as directed.
• Performweeding, planting, mulching, and general landscape bed maintenance.
• Assistwith installation of plants, sod, mulch, soil, and other landscapematerials.
• Removeleaves, branches, grass clippings, and other landscape debris.
• Load,unload, and safely transport tools, equipment, plants, mulch, and othermaterials.
• Maintainclean and organized work areas, trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Followinstructions from the crew leader or supervisor.
• Followcompany safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment.
• Providecourteous and professional service at customer properties.
• Performother general landscaping and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previouslandscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experienceis preferred but not required.
• Experienceoperating ride-on landscape equipment, such as commercial zero-turnmowers, stand-on mowers, or similar equipment, is a plus.
• Abilityto work outdoors in Florida's heat, humidity, and varying weatherconditions.
• Abilityto perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking,bending, lifting, carrying, and repetitive tasks.
• Abilityto lift and carry landscape materials and equipment.
• Reliabletransportation to the company or assigned job site.
• Dependableattendance and a positive attitude.
• Abilityto work independently and as part of a crew.
• Willingnessto learn proper operation and maintenance of landscape equipment.
• Validdriver's license is preferred.
• BilingualEnglish/Spanish skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending,kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Employees may regularly workin direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, and other outdoor conditions.

Employees must be able to safely handle landscaping toolsand equipment and lift materials as required for assigned work.

Work Schedule

Typical work is performed Monday through Friday duringdaytime hours, 6am – 4pm. Occasional overtime or Saturday work may be requiredbased on weather, customer schedules, seasonal workload, or projectrequirements.
