Job summary

Mchale- is seeking a Laborer to join the Maintenance Division in the Upper Marlboro area. The role involves carrying out landscaping tasks and assisting in implementing projects at client locations, under the supervision of the foreman and Production Manager.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position based at our Upper Marlboro, MD corporate office, with potential Saturday work as needed. Responsibilities include planting, lawn and garden maintenance, irrigation and lighting installations, and

Qualifications

• At least one year of landscaping experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to follow instructions from crew leader and foreman.
• Professional appearance and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follows written and verbal instructions from the crew leader (foreman), production manager, account manager and clients.
• Plants new flowers, trees, grass, and shrubs.
• Maintains gardens and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding.
• Waters plants and lawns and adds fertilizer as needed.
• Installs outdoor lighting and sprinkler systems.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves, as needed.
• Builds and renovates stone pathways, patios and ledges.
• Adheres to all safety precautions.
• Assists in distribution, maintenance, storage, and use of equipment (to include trailers, tools, vehicles, etc.)
