Job summary

The Foret Group is seeking a landscape maintenance crew leader to supervise commercial and residential lawn care crews and their assigned properties. This hands-on supervisory role expects leadership in daily maintenance tasks and crew direction.

Required include a Louisiana Class D driver's license or ability to obtain one, and a clear MVR. Minimum 1 year in management and 1 year in lawn maintenance is required, with strong teamwork and work ethic.

Job description

The landscape maintenance crew leader is a supervisory employee who works in our landscape maintenance division. This role requires a hands-on leader to be responsible for commercial and residential lawn care maintenance crews and their assigned properties.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Required Qualifications

Ability to read and write

Valid Louisiana Class D Drivers License or the ability to acquire one. A clear Motor Vehicle Record is required.

Preferred Qualifications

High school degree or GED are admirable accomplishments but are not required to work with our team.

Skills in landscape maintenance or the ability to learn them quickly are desired.

1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction or the ability to learn quickly is desired.

Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching preferred

Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trades preferred

Ready to work hard in sometimes extreme weather conditions (heat, cold etc.)
