Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, AL, is seeking a Landscape Laborer to join Troon’s hospitality‑focused property team. You’ll learn on the job, contribute to the maintenance of one of Alabama’s premier private clubs, and grow in a fast‑paced golf course environment.

This full‑time role offers steady pay, training, and a team‑oriented workplace as you handle planting, mulching, irrigation support, and general landscape care.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal landscape material.
• Mulching, edging, pruning, and general landscape maintenance.
• Weed control and bed maintenance.
• Assisting with irrigation repairs and installation.
• Operating hand tools and power equipment safely.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
• Assisting with property improvement projects.
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance throughout the club grounds.

Previous landscaping experience is helpful but not required. We hire for attitude, work ethic, and character. We can teach the skills to someone who is eager to learn.

Responsibilities
