Job summary

Sunrise Landscape in Venice, FL is hiring a Landscape Construction Crew Member and Driver to install sod, shrubs, trees and hardscape elements while safely moving materials to job sites.

You will operate company trucks, assist with heavy equipment, prep sites, and help ensure high-quality results. Requires at least 1 year of landscape construction experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, and a reliable, team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year of landscape construction experience or related outdoor construction.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience pulling a trailer is a major plus.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly, in Florida heat.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Team-first attitude with reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Execute Installations: sod, shrubs, trees, and flowers; assist with hardscape elements like pavers, walls, and irrigation.
• Safe Vehicle Operation: drive company trucks to transport equipment, debris, and materials.
• Heavy Equipment Prep: use power tools and heavy machinery safely.
• Site Preparation: grade soil, dig trenches, and clear land.
• Material Management: load/unload heavy materials and keep site organized.
• Quality Control: ensure plants are level and stones are set correctly.
