Job summary

The Greenery Inc. in New York seeks a Maintenance Crew Member to landscape and maintain property grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment. Tasks include mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation maintenance, equipment care, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.

Candidates should have basic landscape experience, be able to operate common landscaping tools, and commit to safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in landscape or outdoor work preferable.
• Ability to operate outdoor power tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, and trim turf areas using powered and hand tools.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Plant, cultivate, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other tools.
• Install sod, mulch, pine straw, and other ground covers.
• Install landscape edging, borders, and hardscapes (patios, walkways, retaining walls).
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
