Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Landscaping & Maintenance team member to maintain resort and community grounds, mow lawns, trim plants, lay mulch, and prepare vacancies to market-ready condition.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional weekend work. Responsibilities include maintaining sidewalks and driveways, operating mowers and edgers, applying fertilizers where needed, keeping equipment in good repair, and reporting safety concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment.
• Familiar with maintenance equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic maintenance issues.
• Capable of working independently with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, and grounds features.
• Mows and edges lawns using appropriate equipment.
• Cares for lawns by mulching, weeding and trimming plants.
• Maintains flower beds with pruning and watering as needed.
• Prunes trees, shrubs and hedges; plants new flora.
• Operates fertilizing and pesticide applications as required and safe.
• Keeps ground equipment in good repair and performs light maintenance.
• Reports maintenance concerns to supervisor and assists on special projects.
