Job summary

Jensen Landscape is seeking a Gardener to maintain commercial landscapes, ensuring high quality and customer service. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable daily performance.

Requirements include a preferred (but not required) valid Driver’s License and commercial landscape experience. Ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team, and to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
• Safe operation of equipment, including : 21” and 36” mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
• Basic understanding of Plant ID
• Basic hand pruning skills
• Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance’s with Monarch Safety Policy
• Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
• Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
• All other duties as assigned.
