Job summary

Crescent Moon Landscaping is seeking a designer to assist our lead designer in creating landscape plans. You will be detail-oriented and skilled in landscape design, working with vendors and sales staff to produce high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years proven experience in a design position.
• Ability to create and read landscape design plans.

Job description

At Crescent Moon Landscaping, we want to provide the highest quality product to our customer possible. This starts with a great plan. To help maintain and grow this standard, we are seeking a designer to assist our lead designer in creating landscape plans. As an ideal candidate, you will have an eye for details and proven success creating beautiful designs. You will be highly skilled in all elements of landscape design, working with product vendors; using design software, spreadsheets, word-processing and other project management software. Additionally, you will display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to increase our volume and quality of designs that go out the door.

Objectives of this Role

• Work with sales manager to create beautiful designs for customers.
• Continue to improve and build on our design processes based on the needs of our sales manager and project managers.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• 2+ years proven experience in an design position
• Ability to create and read landscape design plans
• Excellent ability to communicate with vendors, sales manager, project managers, other staff and especially customers
• Knowledge of general software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and design software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and project management software programs
• Basic IT skills, including setting up files on basic inhouse network.

Compensation & Benefits

• $45 - $55,000 a year salary
• 5 days of PTO
• Paid Holidays - New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Remaining week days between Christmas Day and New Years Day
